The love of movement has always been a significant part of Julie's life. As a competitive gymnast throughout high school and college and a Yogi for 20+ years, she knows the value of strength, alignment and dedication as well as the joy of expression through physicality. Julie enrolled in Yoga Teacher training because nothing feels better than sharing something you love!
She completed her 200-hour RYT certification with Yoga Culture in August 2018. A desire to enhance her Yoga teaching skills as well as a chronic back injury led Julie to the LYT method - the perfect marriage between Yoga and aligned, functional movement patterns. She completed her 200-hour LYT certification in May 2020 and her 500-hour LYT certification in October 2021.
Julie believes that no matter how many trips we make around the sun, LYT Yoga helps us feel more youthful, confident, strong and free. She hopes to inspire students to enjoy the lifelong gifts LYT Yoga has to offer as much as she does.
